About

You are allowed to say the pressure is wrong

Half of clients endure an uncomfortable hour rather than speak up. We check in early and often, and there is no correct answer — some people want deep work, some want to fall asleep, and both are a valid use of the appointment. Tell us about the music too; not everyone finds pan flutes relaxing.

“I said the pressure was too much for the first time in my life and she just adjusted it and carried on. Turns out you are allowed to do that.”

Neil B. · Kingston

“Direct billed my insurance so I paid nothing at the desk. Booked six sessions before December because they warned me the benefits reset.”

Charmaine O. · Amherstview

“Two years of shoulder pain and the assessment found it was coming from my neck. Four sessions and it has not come back.”

Vikram J. · Napanee

FAQ

Common questions

Do you direct bill insurance?

Yes, to most major insurers, so in most cases you pay nothing at the desk. Tell us your provider when you book and we will confirm first.

What does it cost?

60 minutes is $105, 90 minutes $150, deep tissue $115 and prenatal $110. Most extended health plans cover registered massage therapy in full or in part.

How much do I undress?

Only to your comfort level. You are draped throughout and only the area being worked on is uncovered. Plenty of people stay fully clothed for shoulder and neck work.

Will it hurt?

It should not, beyond a productive kind of discomfort you choose. Say so the moment it is too much — checking in is part of the job, not an interruption.

Insurance benefits reset in January

Most plans do not carry unused massage coverage forward. Ask the assistant to check your remaining balance and book you in before it expires.
